Tour in Brief
This 5 day Garden Route Adventure Tour departs Cape Town and ends in Port Elizabeth. It is run in conjunction with the returning tour from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town enjoying the exact itinerary except in reverse.

This tour will give any traveller the BEST experience while visiting this region of South Africa giving everyone on the tour an opportunity to enjoy various activities as well as some extreme adventure stuff like the Worlds highest bungee jump and zip lining through the canopy of a forest. A fully escorted tour with a qualified guide who takes care of guests while on tour and excellent and tested accommodations, guests can only have fun and relax on this tour while learning all about our history and cultures.
Detailed Tour Itinerary
DAY 1
Guests are collected at their requested accommodation point in Cape Town at 07:00 to depart for Oudtshoorn at 07:30. The tour travels along the famous Route 62 through Wine & Brandy regions and small Western Cape towns giving guests a feel for our little Karoo regions. The tour stops en route to Oudtshoorn at two of these small towns for refreshments and leisure stops where guests have the opportunity to browse and buy curios memoires for their South African adventure. On arrival in Oudtshoorn the tour travels directly to the World Heritage Site of the Cango Caves where we enjoy a tour through these magnificent caves and learning all about these formations.
Guests then over night at our preferred Hotel, The Queens Hotel as our mid range option on a Dinner Bed & Breakfast basis.

DAY 2
Guests enjoy the crisp morning of the Karoo and enjoy breakfast before departing to the scheduled Ostrich show farm visit where guests learn all about this bygone era industry and also have an opportunity to ride one of this birds (Weight limit). After the Ostrich Show farm the tour continues down to the coast line where the tour stops at Mossel Bay where a visit to the Diaz Museum is enjoyed to give you the background of our Portuguese heritage. From here guests can enjoy lunch (Own Cost) before travelling to Knysna where the tour will overnight.
Our preferred Guest House in Knysna is the Boat House on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Guest enjoy dinner at one of the dockside restaurants in Knysna.

DAY 3
Today guests enjoy a leisurely start and enjoy breakfast before departing for the Featherbed terminal where the guests enjoy a featherbed cruise across the lagoon and enjoy a guided featherbed nature reserve excursion. A fantastic buffet lunch is also enjoyed before returning to the vehicle. The tour then departs Knysna and travels to the Tsitsikamma for the night stopping en route at the Birds of Eden and Monkey Land and the Knysna Elephant park. from here the guests arrive at their overnight accommodation.
The mid range overnight accommodation is at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn on a Dinner Bed & Breakfast basis.

DAY 4
Guests enjoy an early breakfast before partaking in the Tree Top Canopy Tour, an exhilarating trip through the Tsitsikamma Forest canopy. From here guests enjoy a light snack before travelling to the Addo National Park where the guests will enjoy a night drive with the park rangers. Guests then travel to their overnight accommodation where they enjoy dinner.
Our preferred mid range accommodation is Chrislin African Lodge based on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

- Tree Top Canopy tour
- Night drive in the Addo National Park
DAY 5
Guests enjoy the early breakfast before departing for the Addo National Park for the full morning and early afternoon. Exploring the park looking for the Big 5 (Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard & Black Rhino) aswell as all the other species present in this fantastic national park. A tea & coffee stop is enjoyed over looking the park and then the tour continues through the park to the main pic-nic area where the group will enjoy a light lunch before exiting the park through the South section. The tour then ends in Port Elizabeth where the guests are dropped off at their respective hotels or the airport for their onward journey.
